What To Expect

When I have a baby or child in the studio, I know it’s going to be a good day! While I offer sessions for everything from families to weddings and everything in between, I specialize in posed newborn portraiture and children photography! I have so much fun with kids as their innocence and happiness is my favorite to capture!  I have a large selection of backdrops, wraps, props, and outfits that I use to create a one-of-a-kind setup for you and your little ones! When booking your session, we will discuss what theme you’d like so that I can have everything set up and ready when you arrive! I am also happy to shoot on location or in your home! While planning your session, think of your expectations. Do you have a Pinterest board or any favorite inspirational photos? Show them to me! I want to make sure you get everything you want and NEED in your photos and am always open to suggestions.

*Please note, I do not copy other photographer's work. I do everything in my own style and at my discretion with the backdrops and props I already have to work with. Please make sure to look through my portfolio below to see what my style is like before booking.

In-Home Sessions...

For those looking for that comfy cozy style, where posing is natural, and your whole family can be involved, than my Lifestyle Newborn Session is the best choice for you! Unlike my studio sessions, my in-home lifestyle sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. I will bring a basket and some wraps and outfits for a few photos of just baby, but the main focus will be with you interacting with and loving on your new bundle of joy! Show off that nursery or we can find the best lit area and naturally create beautiful images!

Newborns in the Studio

For those that love the posed and styled look of babies, my home-studio Newborn Sessions is for you! I will create a one-of-a-kind setup that goes with your baby's nursery theme (or home color scheme) that is ready when you arrive at my home. I have many backdrops, outfits, wraps, and props available but you are free to bring anything you'd wish to use as well!
